NDC Constituency Elections: FEC approves Timetable

The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has approved a timetable for the conduct of constituency elections.

This is according to a letter that party General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, fired to all regional Chairmen of the party on 9^th September.

“This is to inform you that the Functional Executive Committee (FEC), at its meeting on the 6^th of September, 2022 approved the time table for the conduct of constituency elections.

Please take note of the above decision and plan towards the conduct of a free, fair and transparent constituency elections in your region.”

The letter also informed the regional Chairmen that the election will be in two phases – “Phase one is from the 15^th-17^th September. This phase is for the constituencies with sitting MPs only. Phase two comes off from the 22^nd-23^rd October, 2022. This is for orphaned constituencies, “the letter said.
