A member of the national Communications Team of the NDC, Lawyer Abraham Amaliba, has called for the dismissal of the Finance Minister saying watching Date Rush is better than watching him address the nation on the economy. He said Ken Ofori Atta has messed up the economy of the country.
Lawyer Amaliba who was speaking on TV3’S New Day Breakfast show on Friday added that the address by the Finance Minister was a complete waste of prime time.
“ If we were in the democracy where we take the welfare of Ghanaians seriously, the first mechanism government will take is to fire the Finance Minister,
“ We are in this hole because of his reckless borrowing”, Lawyer Amaliba emphasized.

He later responded fiercely to NPP’s Kamal Deen who said the NDC would have done worse if they were in power.

“You alone have borrowed gh250 billion and you said NDC would have been worse. We left you $ 250million in the sinking fund”, Lawyer Amaliba fired.
