Nii Dodoo Clottey Family Gets New Family Head, Rejects Justice Akoto Bamfo (Rtd)
“With this appointment, Mrs. Justice Vida Akoto Bamfo (Rtd) Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana, who held herself out as acting head of family, no longer represent the family in that capacity.”
The Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase has indicated that Mrs. Justice Vida Akoto Bamfo (Rtd) Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana no longer has the capacity to represent the family as its Head.
This is because, the Family had appointed Michael Nii Amu Dodoo as its family Head to replace Madam Grace Darkoa Dodoo who voluntarily stepped down as head of family due to old age and infirmity.
The appointment, according to a Press Release signed by Aaron Nii Dodoo, Principal Elder and Albert A. Dodoo (Secretary) on January 9, 2024 indicated that Michael Nii Amu Dodoo’s appointment was made on 17th December, 2023 which brings to an end nearly three decades of instability in the family due to leadership crisis.

The family has thus notified the public through its Press Release and warned “all malcontents who hitherto were creating problems within the family to cease and desist from such antisocial conduct. The family takes this opportunity to apologise to any member of the Public who may have fallen victim to the activities of such malcontents.”
