NPP Showdown: Bawumia Casts His Vote Confident Of A Marginal Victory

“So far I’m satisfied with the process so we will wait for the assessment. I hope to win with a marginal percentage”

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed that he is hoping to carry victory at the end of the day  as NPP Delegates vote today to elect their next leader for next year 2024 Elections.

“So far I’m satisfied with the process so we will wait for the assessment. I hope to win with a marginal percentage”, he said.

He said this in a short interaction with the media at the NPP headquarters accompanied by his wife Mrs. Samira Bawumia after casting his vote in the ongoing NPP presidential election.

Voting is currently underway at centers across the country earmarked for the polls.

So far notable people like Bugri Naabu, NPP National Chairman- Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua, Esq, Shirley Ayokor Botchwey among others have voted.

Again over 130 delegates out of 463 have voted so far at the NPP headquarters in Accra.

However, Bugri Naabu noted that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is winning with over 90%.

“All the candidates are good but Dr Mahamudu Bawumia stands tall among them and he is the one winning”.
