Peter Sedufia compares Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy beef to Messi and Ronaldo

One person tries to be sublime with his jabs so as to appear clean (You should either be cold or hot. No in-between). The other lacks pretence – he mentions names, so as to avoid ambiguity or other people claiming the jabs for themselves.

The beef between Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr also known as Shatta Wale and Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy has gone to different level.

The argument between who is on top and who is attacking other has been linked to football stars,  Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for and captains both Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro GOIH ComM and Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for and captains both Major League Soccer club Inter Miami and the Argentina national team, Lionel Andrés “Leo” Messi.

According to a article wrote by Ghanaian filmmaker and producer, Peter Kofi Sedufia and shared by Shatta Wale’s manager, Samuel Atuobi Baah known professionally as Sammy Flex, both artists have been jabbing each other but people show concern about Shatta Wale’s comment than Stonebwoy.

He said, Stonebwoy, who is like Messi does unusual things and is seen as a Saint but if Shatta Wale who is like Ronaldo do the same thing people attack him as an evil.

“Just like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo: Messi does his unthinkable subliminally, and is seen as a Saint. Ronaldo does his unthinkable openly, and is seen as the devil.” He said.

The article indicated that Stonebwoy first insulted Shatta Wale but Ghanaians ignored it; however, the reply by Shatta Wale has become a topic of discussion.

“Suddenly, everyone feels Shatta Wale has insulted Stonebwoy’s mother and disabled people, and must be crucified. Do you all know how big my mouth is? Have you seen me before? Do you know how I felt when Stonebwoy insulted Shatta Wale’s big mouth?”

“All these Shatta Wale/Stonebwoy brouhaha, there’s no neutrality in any social media commentary. Don’t believe any such hoax. Everyone is only speaking in favour of their favourite or against their least favourite – no neutrality! I also have my biases.” Part of the article read.

Peter Sedufia writes and Sammy Flex shares! We read between the lines so we understand this message better. Thank you for sharing knowledge and understanding my brother.

All these Shatta Wale/Stonebwoy brouhaha, there’s no neutrality in any social media commentary. Don’t believe any such hoax. Everyone is only speaking in favour of their favourite or against their least favourite – no neutrality! I also have my biases.

Both artists have been jabbing each other at the least chance they get.

Shatta Wale say Stonebwoy be “Apakye”, Stonebwoy say Shatta Wale “En mouth big”.

Just like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo: Messi does his unthinkable subliminally, and is seen as a Saint. Ronaldo does his unthinkable openly, and is seen as the devil.

Suddenly, everyone feels Shatta Wale has insulted Stonebwoy’s mother and disabled people, and must be crucified.
Do you all know how big my mouth is? Have you seen me before? Do you know how I felt when Stonebwoy insulted Shatta Wale’s big mouth?

“F*ck everybody wey say e be en be the dancehall king. En Mother” – said by Stonebwoy (During his 5th Dimension album launch party at polo beach club on 28th April, 2023) – yet, ears did not hear, nor eyes seen to comment about it.
Well, the difference between the two is:

One person tries to be sublime with his jabs so as to appear clean (You should either be cold or hot. No in-between).
The other lacks pretence – he mentions names, so as to avoid ambiguity or other people claiming the jabs for themselves.

If you know you can’t be genuinely neutral to criticise both of them when they go overboard, please leave them to exchange their jabs in peace!
