Hon Abla Dzifa Gomashie then moved to Hatsukope primary school and its environs which have equally been affected by spillage from the Alorgui lagoon, making it impossible for students to cross over to school, alongside several residents who have been chased out of their homes by the merciless floods.

The MP concluded her tour in other affected communities behind the Diamond Cement factory and Ahiatakukope all in the Duta electoral area of Aflao, which were equally flooded due to the overflow of streams from the Republic of Togo.

In all, she empathized with the affected residents and urged the NPP Government through the ministries of Works and Housing, Gender, Children and Social Protection, Roads and Highways, as well as the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) and Ketu South Municipal Assembly to assist the affected communities and proactively find a sustainable solution to the recurrent flooding menace.

Earlier, some food items were donated to some affected elderly people in Agbaweame.
