Ve Hodzo Community gets Refurbished Borehole from Ho Central NDC Parliamentary Candidate
The residents expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the PC for the support and promised their commitment to ensuring that the project is well taken care of.
National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the Ho Central Constituency, Edem Kofi Kpotosu has rehabilitated and handed over a borehole to the people of the Ve Hodzo Community in the Ho Municipality.
The gesture which costs about GH¢ 5000 to complete is to help alleviate the water crisis in the area after the borehole got damaged some years ago.
At a brief ceremony to hand over the project, Kpotosu said, safe and affordable drinking water was a basic necessity which needed to be prioritized by government and other stakeholders to meet the United Nations (UN) sustainable development goals (SDG 3) on safe drinking water.
He urged the residents of the beneficiary community to take proper care of the borehole in order to serve it’s intended purpose.
He further appealed for massive support from the residents to enable him win the December parliamentary elections so that he can be better placed to continue to extend more help to the many under developed communities in the constituency.
