A 29yr old Mohammed Abdul Razak has been inflicted with machete wounds over the assembly member elections at Sandamuni Electoral area in the Wa Municipality.
Speaking to EIB Network’s Upper West Regional correspondent Morris Banaamwine an eye witness Humeidu Abdul Razak indicated that one guy popularly called “Gabby” threatened everyone present at the polling station including Election officials that if his candidate loses the election he will injure someone before leaving the center.
Mr. Abdul Razak said a few minutes after the counting of results from the Electoral area, Gabby pulled a machete on Mohammed Abdul Razak and hit his forehead.

This resulted in the victim bleeding profused and was rushed to the Wa Regional hospital where he’s receiving treatment.
