We will turn things around – Asante Kotoko coach assures

“We have only one and Kotoko, I am not saying somebody should support me as an individual as Ogum, Daasebre or anybody else to the extent that when I am no more you will sabotage my successor for Kotoko not be able to achieve its purpose in the Ashanti, Ghana and the whole world.

Ghanaian football manager who currently serves as head coach of Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has assured that the football club will renew the joy and aspirations of their supporters.

He said though porcupine warriors have suffered three consecutive defeats in the Ghana Premier League, they can put things together and get the results.

Speaking on Angel FM monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com, Prosper Ogum expressed his appreciation to the supporters for their loyalty to the team.

“So I want on this note to thank all the supporters for how royal they have been and we want to promise them that we will turn things around” He said.

He therefore appealed to them to come together and give the players the needed support to help them bounce back.

“And that everybody should come together, this is the time the team needs the support base though we have not won any game in our three matches but I believe that if they come back I am sure it will give the players some confidence and we will be able to put our things together and we will get the results” He appealed.

The coach added that everybody should prioritize Kotoko, not a particular person.

He believes making Asante Kotoko the topmost priority rather than individual will help the club to achieve its purpose.

“We have only one and Kotoko, I am not saying somebody should support me as an individual as Ogum, Daasebre or anybody else to the extent that when I am no more you will sabotage my successor for Kotoko not be able to achieve its purpose in the Ashanti, Ghana and the whole world. Never, what I want is that we should all come together, if it is because of Ogum that is why you are writing false stories in the medida space or because of somebody else, what I want to tell you is that we have only one Kotoko” Ogum stated.
