Special aide to His Excellency former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari joined a poised NDC Volunteers movement which is working to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dome Kwabenya Constituency Hon Sarah Adwoa Safo who the Volunteers have described as “Uninspiring MP”.
Bawah Mogtari who joined the Volunteers in the company of her husband, charged the teeming Volunteers to work hard to deliver the Parliamentary Seat to the Parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Elikplim Akurugu on December 7, 2020.
She mentioned some achievements of the NDC and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in the Constituency to include the Kwabenya Senior High School (SHS), the Ga East Hospital, the Ga East Municipal office, Roads and many other projects.
She charged the crowd to work hard to rescue the Dome Kwabenya constituency Parliamentary seat for the NDC so that the Constituency can see more development under the next John Mahama administration.
On his part, the Convener of the “Volunteers Hit the Ground” Albert Aheto, said this is the first time in the history of the Dome Kwabenya Constituency that constituents Voluntaryly group themselves to work for the NDC.
Albert Aheto who is also the Dome Kwabenya constituency Deputy Director of Elections said they are not closing any gap but will work hard to unseat the “Missing in Action and uninspiring MP”.
Other speakers at the event included Alhaji Abdul Latif (a business Man), Constituency Vice Chairman Comrade Agbovi, and some Concerned Constituents of Dome Kwabenya.
The poised Volunteers later divided themselves into ten groups and shared among themselves the over Fifteen thousand NDC Manifesto handbills and the Parliamentary candidate Elikem Akurugu’s vision as they moved to all the ten Electoral areas for a retail campaign.
