The principal attorney of Raju’s Law Firm, Raju Mahajan, is traveling to three continents. In the last week of April, he will visit Portugal in Europe, Ghana in Africa, and in the first week of May, he will tour Hawaii and Michigan in America. He will participate in several immigration-related seminars during these travels.

At these seminars, students from Ghana will have the opportunity to learn about studying in America, job opportunities, and obtaining green cards. Those interested in immigration from Portugal to America will also be able to gather various information. Participants will have the chance to learn about job opportunities in America and family-based immigration.

Attorney Mahajan will be in Ghana from April 25th to 27th. On April 26th, he will participate in a seminar on immigration at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in the capital of Ghana, Accra. The seminar titled “Bridge to Bar: Ghanaian Law Students’ Journey to U.S. Legal Practice” will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This seminar provides a great opportunity for law students in Ghana to learn about immigration to America.

During this seminar, Attorney Raju Mahajan will present how law students can apply to study in America, how to study law in America, and how to practice law in the future. Following the presentation, there will be an extensive question-and-answer session.

On April 27th, in the same hotel, a seminar titled “Pathway to Success: Navigating the U.S. Student Visa Process” will be conducted. Any student studying any subject can participate in this seminar. Attorney Raju Mahajan will present how to apply to study in America, the steps involved, work permits, applying for green cards, and the entire process of permanently moving from America. He will discuss various types of visas, including the H-1B category.

For those who want to come to the United States legally, the H-1B visa offers a good opportunity. Despite being a non-immigrant visa, the H-1B visa allows for faster entry into the United States compared to many other visas. Anyone approved can come to the United States within seven to eight months and work legally.

In the H-1B category, it is necessary to have a job offer from any American institution to obtain a visa. Additionally, the sponsoring employer must file a Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the Department of Labor (DOL) and apply for authorization to hire foreign workers. This visa must be renewed after three years. The United States issues 65,000 H-1B visas annually. However, there are an additional 20,000 visas available for graduates or higher degree holders obtained from the United States.
