DATABANK CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Why is SEC, MoFEP and BoG silent about NAM-2 Scandal?

Many Ghanaians believe that the Databank Drama was a hoax to throw Ghanaians off the scent of potential conflict of, insider-trading and Money Laundering through the Cayman Islands tax haven company of Ken Ofori-Atta and Kelli Gadzekpo.

The Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) Rev. Ogbami-Tetteh was Vice Chairman of Databank, which was founded by Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta and Kelli Gadzekpo a Board member of the Bank of Ghana (BoG)…

Despite Databank being insolvent and having locked out its clients its refusing to pay, there has been no adverse action taken by the State…

It will be recalled that the State intervened in the case of MenzGold and several Banks and non-bank financial institutions who were unable or unwilling to pay clients.

Ken Ofori-Atta collapsed some banks to create the Consolidated Bank Ghana when after they recieved liquidity support from the Bank of Ghana allegedly failed to become solvent…

Databank through its CEO, in announcing their closure due to attacks by clients, confirmed that they could not pay clients because of the Government Debt Exchange Programme and required urgent liquidity support.

The books of Databank must be independently investigated…

Ken Ofori-Atta’s haircut resulting from his binge borrowing is impacting the entire Financial sector of Ghana; however most Ghanaians do not believe that Databank which benefited from the binge borrowing was actually in distress…

Databank's Closure, Liquidity Challenges and Our Wahala

Many Ghanaians believe that the Databank Drama was a hoax to throw Ghanaians off the scent of potential conflict of, insider-trading and Money Laundering through the Cayman Islands tax haven company of Ken Ofori-Atta and Kelli Gadzekpo.

An independent investigation should be immediately commissioned.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Ken Ofori-Atta, Rev. Ogbami-Tetteh and Kelli Gadzekpo must be interdicted or resign so as not to interfer with the investigation.

Ghanaians must be Citizens and not Spectators.

Ghanaians must demand PROBITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY in the unfolding DATABANK DEFAULT and nonpayment of clients…

Walahi!
