Dzodze: Torgbi Dzoku V Officially Gazetted
With this gazzette, Torgbi Dzoku is now able to deliver fully on his mandate as Paramount Chief of Dzodze, serving his people without fear or favor.
Paramount Chief of the Dzodze traditional area in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta region, Torgbi Dzoku V, has received his official gazette.
He was gazetted into the National House of Chiefs after meeting all the requirements necessary for admission into the noble house.
With this gazzette, Torgbi Dzoku is now able to deliver fully on his mandate as Paramount Chief of Dzodze, serving his people without fear or favor.
In a telephone interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh, The Paramount Chief of Dzodze said he was happy about his new status and sees it as a call for him to do more for the Dzodze community.
“This gazette is a call for me to do even more for my people, not only in traditional matters but also in lobbying for job opportunities for the youth of my community,” he stated.
The traditional ruler implored all indegenes of Dzodze to rally support behind him and to eschew unnecessary squabbles and rancour for the betterment of the livelihoods of the townfolks and the development of the area as a whole.
The Paramount Chief of Dzodze said his doors are always opened for all well-meaning citizens of the area and other well-wishers so that “together we can work hand-in-hand to ensure that a new day breaks over Dzodze,” he said.
