Group donates 165 beds to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
This, if done, would enable the management to continue to deliver seamless and excellent healthcare services not only to the Ghanaian populace but within the African continent.
A Non Governmental organization, Excellence In Africa in Partnership with Elegant Homes & Construction Company Limited, and Mr. Alex Dewtey has presented 165 medical beds to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital with an estimated value of $495,000.00.
This was in response to a request made through the Deputy Director of Medical Affairs, Dr. Harry Akoto to assist in ameliorating the inadequate bed capacity situation in the hospital.
The hospital expressed enormous gratitude to the donor for their swift intervention, noting that the support would bring significant relief to management and patients with ultimate impact in ensuring efficient and quality healthcare delivery.
The Hospital further assured that the beds would be put to good use by ensuring that good maintenance care is strictly adhered to for a longer lifespan.
The Hospital appealed to philanthropists, corporate Ghana, and individuals to support the hospital by Adopting a Ward as we Celebrate Our Centenary.
