E.I. 432 signed on 31st December, 2021 by President Akufo-Addo purports to return over 400acres of State Acquired Lands to the Ashantihene in trust for the Subjects of the GOLDEN STOOL and further orders all State institutions including the Military to relocate while others are informed to atone tenancy to the Golden Stool and no longer pay Ground Rent to the State but to the Golden Stool.
OccupyGhana and other Civil Society groups have categorically stated their opposition to the return of State Lands to the Original Land Owners in Accra but are silent on the Ashanti return of State Lands.
They have also been silent over the long list of Land Looters including very high profile personalities fraudulently allocated State Lands in the most prime areas in Accra for ridiculous amounts as low as GHc7000 for very expensive land at Cantonments as in the case of Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo.
Several hundreds of named high profile personalities including Sophia Akuffo and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey were fraudulently allocated State Lands in Cantonments, Labone and Airport Residential Areas; way before Justice Sophia Akuffo sat on the Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey Ridge Bungalow Case.

The First Lady was exonerated by the Ghana Police Service who fail to name the faceless thieves currently developing the disputed Cantonments Civil Aviation Land.
No investigation has been conducted into Kennedy Agyepong’s allegation of Stephen Ntim stealing and selling of Aviation Land around East Legon and elsewhere when he was head of the Lands Commission…
Then the Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission confirmed that the Lands Ministry had an agreement with Clemence Gyato and Aynok Holdings to reclaim encroached State Lands and be paid with portions of the State Lands, again Civil Society has remained silent.
It has emerged that Clemence Gyato and his cousin John Peter Amewu own a huge chunk of the Adenta Civil Aviation Lands through a deal identical to the Kwaku Asoma-Cheremeh MoU on the Cantonments Civil Aviation Land purporting to return the State Lands to the purported Land Owners then immediately takeover the same State Lands which are shared among faceless persons…

So it is not only about Sir John;

DEAD MEN CAN’T TALK so Ghana’s Civil Society has decided that the Sir John will be the only talking point on Landgrab in Ghana…
All Looting of State Acquired Lands including the Cantonments Civil Aviation and Adenta Civil Aviation Lands must be investigated.
The call for an Independent Public Enquiry into only the Achimota Forest Landgrab is a contrived attempt to excuse bigger living fish by Sampson Lardi Anyinenyi and his OccupyGhana and IMANI friends.
Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators…
Government must immediately return ALL STATE ACQUIRED LANDS TO THE STOOLS THROUGH THE PARAMOUNT CHIEF as in E. I. 432 or as OccupyGhana and other Civil Society groups are proposing NO STATE LANDS SHOULD BE RELEASED TO ANYBODY.
The charade about UNEXPLAINED WEALTH and investigation and possible posthumous prosecution of Sir John by CHRAJ or the Special Prosecutor is a big Joke…
Let’s get serious with the investigation of Sophia Akuffo and the other alleged living Land Looters.
