In her submission she said;“If really God made Nana a President then building a cathedral should be a problem. So a cathedral that has so many controversies around it. A cathedral that has a secretariat, the secretary having been called Rev. Kusi Boateng and from the application his lawyers to Parliament when his lawyers had the case in Parliament with Ablakwah, the lawyers stated in the documents that the Kusi Boateng is his alias and his real name is the Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.”

There have been continuous controversies surrounding the National Cathedral project which is being built by President Akufo-Addo’s government.

Majority of Ghanaians have expressed they no longer have interest in the completion of the National Cathedral project because of the controversies surrounding it.

Former MCE under former president John Mahama’s administration, and a member of the NDC communications team, Margaret Ansei who was a panel on the Sunrise show today added her voice to the masses’.

“My alias is Mago but under no circumstance will I write Mago on my examination papers. The appointment President Mahama gave me as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) my name was clearly written. So how do we accept an alias having a diplomatic passport from the real name and we are entertaining this till now.” She added.

“If Nana Addo is doing all this with pocket money and is shredded in all secrecy and lack of transparency, I don’t care about it. My point is that a hooping $400 million taxpayers Ghana money has gone into most expensive hole in the world which is been dugged there. The money is in that hole called cathedral. That alone doesn’t make me sick but the fact that passport office and others have been demolished and tax payers are going to pay for every compensation and using it money to build a cathedral that over $400 million they haven’t laid any block.”

In her conclusion, she referenced a portion of the Bible to support her assertion on the National Cathedral brouhaha.

“The Bible says that if you make a vow redeem it for God does not take pleasure in fools. Pay your vow, why do bring all of us into your vow, it has become so messy, lack of transparency, reverend ministers are resigning that it not transparent and they don’t how much it cost.

“The President is going no where. This man is on autopilot, he is going no where and is leading us blindly. That is why we are here.”
