The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing has extended heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang on her appointment as the NDC’s running mate in the 2024 General Elections.
In a press release dated March 7, the NDC Youth Wing stated that Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang’s appointment is an inspiration for immaculate young ladies in mainstream politics in the country, adding that it is a well-deserved selection, and that she will bring unparalleled experience and exceptional leadership to the forefront of the party’s campaign.
“We firmly believe that Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is the ideal candidate to partner with our standard bearer as we approach the 2024 General Elections.Her extensive leadership experience and unwavering integrity are precisely what Ghana needs in a vice president” part of the statement reads.
The Youth Wing also stated that Prof. Jane’s appointment demonstrates that John Mahama has a strong belief in women, stating that he has presented Ghanaians with a candidate who is highly intelligent, has unblemished integrity, and is qualified with unrivalled political credentials as his running mate, who will work alongside John Mahama to address the country’s harsh economic challenges.
