Madina: Wife Murderer’s Case adjourned to August 4

A Madina District Court has adjourned the case of the Republic vrs Prince Charles Dedjoe to the 4th of next month.

Prosecution led by Chief Inspector Sophia Adamura told the Court that prosecutors are yet to receive advice from the office of the Attorney General.

The Court is hopeful that by the next adjourned date, the advice would have come from the AG’s office.

The accused person Prince Charles Dedjoe is alleged to have killed his wife at East Legon in Accra.

Meanwhile, as part of the ADR week celebration, the Court used the opportunity to brief court users on the benefits and importance of ADR. It noted that Alternative Dispute Resolution is fast, less stressful and not expensive.

The Court added that the option of settling cases amicably between Parties is not time consuming compared to court litigation.
