Election 2024: Former President Mahama takes ‘Building Ghana Tour’ to Greater Accra Region

On the second day of the tour, Mahama is slated to meet with Christian Religious Leaders in Greater Accra at the Auditorium of Tema Comm. 4 Assemblies of God Church. This will be followed by stakeholder engagements with industry players in the Port and Maritime Sectors at GIFF Hall. The morning tour will culminate in interactions with artisans and informal workers at Africa Advance Park, Ashaiman.

John Dramani Mahama, the Presidential Candidate of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has taken his “Building the Ghana We Want” tour to the Greater Accra Region.

The two-day tour which begins today, Monday March 11, 2024 to Tuesday, March 12, 2024 is being spearheaded by the Regional Executive Committee of the NDC in collaboration with the National Headquarters of the party.

The tour kickstarts with the convergence of numerous Party loyalists, Greater Accra Regional Executives, Members of Parliament from the region, and various stakeholders at the Forest Hotel, Dodowa, to extend a warm welcome to Mr Mahama to the region.

During the tour, Mahama and his entourage will traverse through the Dodowa Market, partake in a courtesy visit to the Greater Accra House of Chiefs, and address a mini-Durbar of Chiefs at the Regional House of Chiefs Durbar Ground.

The itinerary also includes a scheduled meeting with the leadership of Abossey Okai Spare Parts Traders and a Durbar of Traders at Abossey Okai Ablekuma Central to conclude the activities for the day.
