We appreciate the Explanation of the Idiomatic Expression “Do Or Die” – Rev Dr Simon Abu Babah

“What is wrong in calling for vigilance at the polling station?"

The Ahafo Regional Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Babah, spoke on behalf of the Council of Churches during His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s engagement with religious leaders in Ahafo.

The program was held at the Victory Centre of the Assemblies of God Church for both the Islamic leadership in the region and the Christian leadership.

He said he was initially worried when he heard the reported statement on a radio station, but later listening to the explanation by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, he is convinced the former president means well for this nation.

“What is wrong in calling for vigilance at the polling station? When people are vigilant at the polling stations, it helps everyone. It avoids controversies around elections,” he stated.

He thanked the President for the thank you tour and reaching out to religious leaders, chiefs and people who did not even vote for him.

He wished the former president well in his future endeavours and also wished the team safety as they tour the rest of the regions.
