‘I want to win the AFCON trophy’ – Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku

Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), wants to make a big impact on Ghanaian football. Even though there has been criticism about how the Black Stars, Ghana’s national football team, have been playing lately, Okraku is determined to make a positive change.
In a press conference in Kumasi, Okraku talked about his big dreams for Ghanaian football. He said he wants to win big tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the FIFA World Cup. “I want to win the AFCON; I want to win the World Cup!” Okraku announced. “I want to win every competition Ghana finds itself. This is the collective belief and mindset of my fellow Executive Council members.”
Okraku has been talking about revolutionizing Ghanaian football and making the country a strong force in African football. However, there have been some problems during his time as GFA President. Some people have accused the association of corruption and not managing things well.
Despite these difficulties, Okraku is still hopeful about the future of Ghanaian football. He thinks Ghana has a lot of talented players, and there are ongoing efforts to improve the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
“I want to make the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence really good and make it an internationally recognized standard,” he said.
Okraku knows that reaching these goals won’t be easy. It will take a lot of hard work and dedication. But he’s determined to leave a positive mark on Ghanaian football and make sure it’s headed in the right direction.
“I am fully committed to the cause, and I know together, we can achieve great things,” Okraku stated.
He believes that by working together and staying focused, Ghana can become a powerhouse in African football once again.
