KEN AGYAPONG TO TAKE OVER KING FAISAL?

The management of Kumasi-based King Faisal FC has reportedly approached Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong to consider taking over their club.

Founder and Bank roller of the club, Alhaji Grunsah reportedly told Accra-based Atinka FM that the club is currently discussing with the businessman cum politician to consider taking over the club.

King Faisal was promoted to the Ghana Premier League after the spending years in the Division One League.

But the Bank roller insists the club is facing financial crisis and has since approached the millionaire to come to the aid of the club.

“Since Sammy Kuffour met us to discuss taking over King Faisal, we’ve not seen him again, so we have to move on.

“We are currently talking to Honorable Kennedy Agyapong over many issues including helping us to secure a place to play our home matches,” Alhaji Grunsah said.
