NDC members urged to respect both Paper ID Cards and Plastic ID Cards
Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has advised party members in the Constituency and beyond to patronize paper membership cards, explaining that it has same recognition and relevance as the plastic cards
As part of the ongoing internal reorganisation of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), a former parliamentary candidate for the party in the Ho Central Constituency, Mr. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has advised party members in the Constituency and beyond to patronize paper membership cards, explaining that it has same recognition and relevance as the plastic cards currently under distribution across the country.
He urged the members to educate each other on the need for the paper card to erase the misconception surrounding the acquisition of the paper card.

NDC INTERNAL REORGANISATION – EQUAL WEIGHT FOR PAPER AND PLASTIC CARDS
As it has recently been suggested by the party for the need for a new internal registration for the NDC membership cards (Plastic & Paper) , it has been highly observed that most members who have procured the paper cards are again opting for the plastic card with the mindset that comrades are giving more recognition to the plastic cards to the detriment of the paper card with the impression that the plastic card grants much more prestigious status compared to the paper card .
Indeed the paper card has equal acknowledgement and weight as the plastic card because the paper card is locally, nationally and internationally accepted once the party has approved of it and does not make one a less recognized member of the NDC bearing in mind that the NDC does not discriminate on any grounds whatsoever.
The NDC as a party believes in creating a leveled playground for all and sundry regardless of economic and social backgrounds will equally give opportunities to holders of both plastic and Paper cards.
Indeed, I wish to urge the rank and file of the NDC to educate Comrades that the paper card will grant equal to each Comrade an equal opportunity as the plastic card so as to complement the objectives of the internal party reorganisation as we gradually approach election 2024.
