Show Respect to All manner of  People in Society –  Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed Advises colleagues

Hon. Ahmed gave this advice in an exclusive intenriend with Ghananewsonline.com.gh in his office in Parliament on Tuesday, August 16, 2022

 

First Deputy Ministry Chief Whip in Parliament, Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed has advise his colleagues and people in position to endeavor to respect all manner of people they come in contact with especially their constituents and workers.

He noted that their workers, ranging from the cleaner to the principal director Respect at one time or the order.

According to him though, as Members of Parliament (MPs) Ministers, businessmen, etc they give money to their workers. This should not be seen as luring them with money, rather they should not be seen stipends as motivational money to enable them (workers) work hard for them.
What is more these workers normally have lots of information at hand.

Therefore, treating them shabbylly is at one’s on peril since such vital information could be hidden from them.

Hon. Ahmed gave this advice in an exclusive intenriend with Ghananewsonline.com.gh in his office in Parliament on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

Tha Chief Whip, who also doubled as MP for Benda and Elder of the Church of Pentecost, cited a biblical story, which Neiman… had to heed the advice of his maidservant to abide by the directives of the Prophet …….

Being addable himself, thus endearing himself to the hearts of …. In the Parliament, hon Ahmed that but for the respect and love shown to his housemaid, this advice would have been hidden from him and he would have lived with his leprosy till death.

“Therefore, as leaders we should offer our subordinate, love respect, motivation, trust etc so that they give their best in our service,” he admonished.

Touching further on motivation, Hon. Ahmed pointed out that workers are not robots. As such they need motivation, which will necessitate them to bring out their best and die or their masters. This is because they will get inner and job satisfactory.

On trust, Hon. Ahmed pointed out that tryst is the foundation of business. He noted that in this current World of competition trust is very important, since with trust, people, banks and even counties will give one money by way of loans and aids to expand one’s business or solve one’s problems.

Hon. Ahmed was also quick to pointing out that trust also comes with discipline, dedication and commitment. “this is because, without discipline, all monies could be given to you, and you will squander it within a twinkle od an eye!” he stressed.

The Chief Whip also touched on time management. He explained that in this current world of completion, no one waits for anyone. It is very important than, that one, manages his time properly so as to get moving with others.
