Water Wars Loom in Ghana: Apocalypse Ahead

Groundwater salinity will soon overtake General water pollution as it becomes apparent that chemical introduced by Galamsey has made much of Ghanas lands and water bodies toxic.

Ghana’s wasted years under President Akufo-Addo, the Galamsey tragedy and Akufo-Addo’s failures have conspired with Climate Change to deliver a death blow which Ghanaians must FIGHT or DIE.

For years Ghana has fled from floods and failed to create meaningful dams to harness the annual spilling of the Bagri Dam in Burkina Faso.

With no investment in Desalination Plants and the ongoing destruction of all rivers and water bodies, soon Ghana will run out of potable water.

The destruction of Forests and farmlands means less rainfall and more runoff leading to erosion and desertification over time.

It is a matter of survival.

As the glaciers elsewhere melt and sea levels rise everywhere, many coastal communities in Ghana which are below sea level will be lost to the sea; if Sea Defence Walls are not immediately provided.

This phenomenon of tsunamis, flush floods and eating away of coastal towns will push many people further inland to share the limited unpolluted water and Lands.

If Accra was lost to the sea together with the commercial and economic hub of Ghana; imagine how the new Ghana will fare to remain a viable entity.

IT IS A CASE OF SURVIVAL.

We cannot rely on Akufo-Addo to lead us out of this cataclysmic catastrophe which has been brought about partly due to his abysmal failure in fighting Galamsey among others.

Groundwater salinity will soon overtake General water pollution as it becomes apparent that chemical introduced by Galamsey has made much of Ghanas lands and water bodies toxic.

AriseGhana Youth for your country.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.

Technology will help some countries discover freshwater deposit and guarantee them survival.

Ghana will be condemned to importing water, die trying or make a U-Turn now to save itself from the scourge of Galamsey and the wasted years of Akufo-Addo.

Ghana is confronted with a choice between famine and farming not the sloganeering “Planting For Fools and Jokes” currently being implemented.

God Save Our Homeland Ghana from dying of thirst and help us develop a comprehesive National Water Policy including Rain Harvesting and Desalination using REVERSE OSMOSIS.
