We are with you through rain or shine – Minority Leader Assures Gyakye Quayson

He noted that though the Assin North Constituency has been a swing and special one, the re-election of Quayson as MP for the constituency points to NDC’s Success Story governance in 2024.

Minority Leader, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Atto Forson has assured their Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North, Hon. James Joe Gyakye Quayson that through rain or shine, thick or thin, the Minority Group in Parliament will not forsake him.

He maintained that whenever he is summoned to court the Minority Caucus in Parliament will boycott sitting and throng the court in solidarity with him.

Hon. Atto Forson gave this assurance Last Sunday during the “Thank you” service organized by the Party at Breku to Thank God for a peaceful by-election and above all, the re-election Quayson for the constituency.,

He pointed out that Quayson’s victory was not for him alone, and the Party, but also against bad governance and hardship into which the Nana Akufo- Addo/Bawumia led NPP government had plunged the country into.

He noted that though the Assin North Constituency has been a swing and special one, the re-election of Quayson as MP for the constituency points to NDC’s Success Story governance in 2024.

Taking his turn to address the people, NDC Flag bearer and 2024 Presidential hopeful, John Dramani Mahama thanked the people of Assin North for reposing their trust once more in their candidate Quayson.

He stated that when the history of Ghana is going to re-written, the name of Assin North will be written in Gold. The Presidential hopeful stated further that the NDC Party will never forget the people of Assin North and neither will it (NDC) forsake their MP.

Touching on the court case against Quayson, JDM opined that God, who is the greatest judge will take control of the case. On his part, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, Chairman General for the Party stated that Hon. Quayson was on his way to greatness by his election and the court cases he was saddled with.
