VGMA22: Wizzy Adablah gives thumbs-up to Diana Hamilton

A Ghanaian-US based musician, Wizzy Adablah, known in showbiz as the Superior Character has lauded Diana Hamilton for being adjudged Artiste of the Year at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Speaking to Ghananewsonline.com.gh, Superior Character pointed out that the competitive nature of the award means Ghana’s music is growing and would motivate the up and coming young artistes to take their craft serious.

“Diana deserves it and this will also encourage the young gospel musicians in the industry to work harder on their craft. Ghana music is growing by each minute and we must push more though it’s not easy as some might think,” he stated.

Popular gospel musician, Diana Hamilton’s crown makes her the second gospel artist to pick the coveted award in the 22-year history of the music awards in Ghana.

The first gospel musician to earn this feat in Ghana’s Music Industry is Joe Mettle, he won it in the year 2017.

The ‘Adom’ hitmaker won the Gospel Artiste of the Year by beating several other great artists and went ahead to win the ultimate on the night of the ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Wizzy Adablah also commended the organizers of the event as well as the great performance that herald the night from Kofi Kinaata, Bethel Revival Choir, Yaa Yaa, Fameye, Okyeame Kwame, Cina Soul, Dead Peepol, Epixode, Dope Nation, and Bob Pinodo.

Superior Character has composed some great songs to his credit namely Ghana Wonder, Ladies Night, Rawlings Revolution, Tafiya which is a motivating Hausa song to encourage both the young and old to soldier on despite the challenges.

Wizzy Adablah is also set to release more intriguing and inspiring songs to entertain, educate and inspire anyone going through diverse challenges.
