Bullying at Adisadel College: Be keen on Monitoring Students’ Behaviors regularly – Concerned Parents charge School Authorities
They charged the Attorney General to investigate the matter and prosecute the culprits immediately to serve as deterant to others.
Leadership of Concerned Parents for Free SHS Ghana has condemned the act of a senior student bullying a junior in a dormetory at Adisadel College in Cape Coast .
In a statement jointly signed by the National Chairman and the General Secretary of the Association, Benjamin Oteng Marfo and Isaac Frimpong respectively, they urge thorough investigation into the matter .
The Statement further praised the Ghana Education Service (GES) for the swift response in suspending the Housemaster of the Quaque Hall where the incident happened and the Students in question for further investigations.
They further charged the students in the junior rank to report any maltreatment to school authorities and also called on the various Headmasters and Mistresses in various schools to do routine supervisions to curb any further occurance of such incidents.
They finally charged the Attorney General to investigate the matter and prosecute the culprits immediately to serve as deterant to others.
