Ken Ofori Atta will officially Resign as Finance Minister in few Days – Ato Forson hints
“I am hearing that he is going to resign after this budget presentation. His own MPs were saying it today. It was all over”,
He said he got the information from some of his colleague MPs on the majority side in Parliament today during the Minister’s reading of the 2024 budget and economic policy of the government.
The Minority Leader who was speaking in an exclusive interview on TV3’s Ghana Tonight show hosted by Alfred Ocansey on Wednesday evening was emphatic that Ken Ofori Atta’s resignation is very very near.
“I am hearing that he is going to resign after this budget presentation. His own MPs were saying it today. It was all over”, Dr. Ato Forson revealed
He said the Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta would be remembered as the one who crushed Ghana’s economy to dust.
“He is the same Minister of Finance who has destroyed our economy. He has plunged Ghanaians into extreme poverty. He is going to be remembered as the one who gave Hair cut to Pensioners,” he stated.
He called on the Governor of the Bank of Ghana to follow Ken Ofori Atta’s example and resign because he is an accomplice in the destruction of Ghana’s economy.
